The record was released online Monday (May 24) night.

Produced by longtime collaborator DJ Toomp, “Yeah Ya Know (Takers)” appears to double as a number from the forthcoming film “Takers,” in which T.I. stars alongside Chris Brown and Matt Dillon. A representative from the rapper’s label, Atlantic, was unable to confirm this as of press time. A more aggressive T.I. can be heard on “Yeah Ya Know (Takers)” — a harder posture than the one he takes on his previous King Uncaged effort, “I’m Back,” which marked the Atlanta MC’s first output since his federal imprisonment ended earlier this year. T.I. shouts during the song’s spoken outro, “Prison ain’t change me, it made me worse. Right, ‘Pac? If I want it, I’ma come get it. I ain’t asking for it — I’mma take it. We takers.” (MTV)

Last month, T.I. posted a tweet about his album’s new release date.

“sneak peak #2 of the “i’m back” video @ http://bit.ly/b6cCta – debuts monday @ 2pm EST on www.trapmuzik.com and oh yeah…the album date is pushed up 8.17.10 – King Uncaged.” (T.I.’s Twitter)

Tip also recently compared his project to the late Tupac Shakur’s All Eyez On Me.

T.I. is setting the bar high for his post-prison album, King Uncaged, comparing it to Tupac’s 1996 classic All Eyez on Me, which was released months after ‘Pac got out of prison. “This is the most significant return from incarceration that the game has had since then,” T.I. says. “Just given the enormous success of that project, everyone’s expecting the same results. I just want to meet the expectations, if not surpass them.” (Rolling Stone)

The rapper revealed the name of his summer album last month with an August 24th release date.

T.I. is breaking free with his seventh studio album. The Atlanta rapper has announced a title for his next release. The follow-up to 2008’s double-platinum Paper Trail will go by the name of King Uncaged, it was revealed today via Tip’s website TrapMuzik.com. He has been recording with Jim Jonsin, B.o.B, Danja and The Runners for the August 24 release. A buzz single “I’m Back” is currently No. 65 on the Billboard Hot 100. (Rap-Up)
