Grammy-winning rapper T.I. is looking to unleash his feelings on the upcoming Trouble Man album, revealing this project will easily offer more aggression than 2008's platinum-selling Paper Trail LP.

Although the “King of the South” plans to feed the streets, he said fans can still expect to hear some Top 40 hits on his solo effort.

“All of my albums are basically a reflection of where I am in my life at that moment in time,” T.I. told MTV News’ Sway Calloway when he appeared on “RapFix Live.” “So the biggest difference in the man that I am today and the man that I was then, I guess musically, it’s gonna be more aggressive than Paper Trail. … There are so many classes of people and so many different demographics that are looking to T.I. to redeliver their favorite song. … I’ve come to the conclusion that when you service one group of those fans, then there’s gonna be another group of fans who feel like, ‘He should’ve done what I wanted him to do.’ So you just gotta serve each group, so I’m servicing each group at a time.” (MTV)

Last month, Tip revealed his LP is headed to retail stores in early September.

Trouble is brewing for T.I. The Grand Hustle chief has announced a release date for his eighth album Trouble Man. During his visit to Angie Martinez‘ radio show on Tuesday, Tip revealed that the follow-up to 2010’s No Mercy will drop on September 4. “Look forward to those summertime anthems that we’ve grown to love about T.I.,” he previously told Fuse of the project, which has spawned the singles “Love This Life” and “Like That.” (Rap-Up)

Recently, producer Sham “Sak Pase” Joseph hit up SOHH to discuss Tip’s new album.

“I think what we want to do is transcend and introduce a musically mature T.I.,” Sak Pase told SOHH. “I think he’s accomplished a lot with the T.I. we already know him for. Obviously his new album will have the classic T.I. records where it may be a great female record but musically, I think it may not be time to try something different but kind of mature the music a little bit more plus add a bit more sophistication to who he already is. People don’t really regard Southern artists as lyricists or true emcees or sophisticated. So I think he has an opportunity to do that now. He’s done Trap Muzik which was very successful and I think now it’s an opportunity to try something different. I want to be able to say that Tip is venturing out into different types of music and elements that could spark a different kind of light.” (SOHH)

Although the “King” has platinum albums to his name, he recently discussed plans to leave the rap game sooner than later.

“This is what everyone fails to realize. I want out. I want out, man. What the game is going to and what has evolved into from a personality standpoint, it goes against what I represent. What I embody, this game contradicts that. So I want out. I’m in it because I love music and I have obligations contractually.” (“The Breakfast Club”)
