Producer Swizz Beatz has revealed what active rapper out right now has won his attention and earned the right to be called his favorite.
Writing on Twitter, Swizzy gave Rick Ross the title of hottest at the moment and also warned fans of what to expect from him in 2011.
“WHO IS YOUR FAV RAPPER OUT RITE NOW? MY FAV HANDS DOWN IS @RICKYROZAY YEAH I SAID IT!!!!!!!,” Swizz tweeted Thursday (December 30) referencing Ross.

Earlier this month, Swizz, Drake and Busta Rhymes named Ross’ Teflon Don album their favorite 2010 release.
“Favorite album of this year,” Drake said in an interview, “[I’d say] Rick Ross. Rick Ross had the best album of this year, yeah. Phenomenal album.”
“My favorite album of the year thus far,” Busta said in an interview, “I would have to say it’s Rick Ross’ Teflon Don album. It’s do and through out. It’s a beautiful body of art.”

Over the summer, Ross’ Teflon Don debuted on the sales chart at No. 2.
Grammy-winning rapper Eminem’s Recovery has continued its reign atop the charts at No. 1 with 187,200 sold copies. According to Nielson SoundScan, the rapper’s latest solo effort has sold 1,669,600 units after five weeks on the charts. Def Jam juggernaut Rick Ross’ Teflon Don opened up this week at No. 2.
