It is what it is with a lot of these guys reuniting. Some of these guys, the newer generation are getting back together for the music but at the end of the day, we’re all brothers and we all come from the same elements.

It’s no different than you having an argument with your brother. For a minute you might be fiending and thinking the situation is serious but you eventually calm down. With some groups that have had success, it’s kind of hard to ignore it.

It’s kind of hard to ignore it and so once the tensions die down, people get back together and they do what they do best. Once you’ve tasted a little bit of success, especially with groups like Mobb Deep and CNN, we’re all brothers first. To the world, we’re artists first but we have so much history together coming up as kids and being in the same schools and sh*t like that.

Those things don’t usually stay permanent unless whatever caused them to break up in the first place is real dramatic and you can’t really turn the other cheek. It’s usually something that you’ve got to sit back and let die down.

Sometimes we’re all in different places. People have to do what they do best. Sometimes it’s family, sometimes it’s girls, sometimes people can’t really shake the street life. But at the end of the day, the music is what bonds us all together. I’m for it. I don’t knock nobody.

I would love to be able to partake in [a Firm reunion]. I’m a fan first so whether we’re going in as a group or we’re going in individually, I still support and I still show love. Sometimes it might have to be the streets that makes that call.

The Firm was pretty much Nas‘ idea and Nas’ dream so everything kind of went through that path. But now we’re all older, a little bit more mature and I’m sure everybody misses that money and attention. Maybe there is a way to put that all together.

But for right now, I can only do what I do best and that’s make music, take care of my family and do what I do. If it happens, then I will seriously consider it.
