Dash claims director F. Gary Gray reached out to her for Ross’ Teflon Don single.

“F. Gary Gray called me and he’s a director that I wanted to work with for a very long time. He’s like ‘Look I’m doing this music video, it’s based around Harley Davidson and it’s going to be amazing, will you do it with me?’ I said, ‘Of course! You’re F. Gary Gray! I love your vision, yes! We shot it Sunday and Monday at Palm Desert–both 18-hour workdays. I play the video vixen. I’m in a Lamborghini and he pulls up on me. I’m not having a good time with my man and he’s like ‘Come with me.’ There’s about 20 guys in Harley bikes surrounding me. I’m like ‘Heck yeah, I’m getting on the bike!'” (VIBE)

Photos from their shoot hit the internet last weekend.

Rick Ross & F. Gary Gray have moved on passed the treatment and began shooting the video for Rick Ross’ first single off Teflon Don, “Super High”, this week-end in L.A.. I guess Stacey Dash is a video vixen now? She still looks good for her 40 something year old self. Sheesh! More images and footage coming soon! (57th Ave)

Ross recently talked about working with Gray for his new video.

“I think so highly of the record,” Ross continued. “When I started brainstorming about visual ideas, I started flipping through some of my favorite movies, such as ‘Friday,’ such as ‘Set It Off,’ such as ‘The Italian Job,’ ‘The Negotiator.’ Most recently, ‘Law Abiding Citizen.’ What all these films had in common was they was all directed by F. Gary Gray. That’s when I decided: ‘This is my favorite director of all time.’ Shout out to F. Gary Gray. I reached out to my homie, he just came aboard to direct ‘Super High.’ This is gonna be special. It means a lot to me. Coming back for my fourth LP. My first three #1’s. My first album #1, second #1, third. We following up with this one. We coming with a lot of big surprises. You gotta stay tuned, though. You gotta stay tuned.” (MTV)

The upcoming music video stems from Ross’ forthcoming Teflon Don album.

Along with Ne-Yo, who appears on the first official single for the disc, “Super High,” the Miami Boss also recruited such hip-hop heavyweights as Jay-Z, Kanye West, T.I. and Drake. Known for his collaborations with the R&B elite (John Legend, The-Dream), Ross’s new LP also boasts features from Raphael Saadiq and Chrisette Michele. Producers on the project include DJ Clark Kent, the Olympics and past co-conspirators J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, the Runners and the Inkredibles. (XXL Mag)
