Atlanta rapper Soulja Boy might want to worry a little more about his legal problems as opposed to a fight with Chris Brown. The hip-hop artist reportedly is dealing with a felony gun possession charge.
According to Monday (January 23) reports, SB could land four years behind bars if convicted in a December gun arrest.
The L.A. County D.A. just slapped him with 2 felonies — possession of an assault weapon and being a felon in possession of a firearm. He was also charged with a misdemeanor for receiving stolen property … cops say one of the guns in Soulja’s house was reportedly stolen from a cop car. The assault weapon charge is for a Mini Draco AR-15 … which is illegal for anyone to possess in California. (TMZ)
Big Soulja made headlines last month after getting arrested on a gun-related charge.
Way was arrested by Los Angeles police at his house on December 15th. The rapper was on probation from a previous firearms charge and had been ordered not to possess any weapons, but law enforcement allegedly found the rapper with a Mini Draco AR-IS assault weapon and a Glock 21 handgun, according to the D.A.’s office. Prosecutors said one of the firearms had been reported stolen from a police vehicle in Huntington Beach, California. (Rolling Stone)
Last week, Soulja Boy hinted at Chris Brown possibly wanting to ditch their bout.
The same week, hip-hop manager Wack 100 said fans could expect the fight to still go down.
