Atlanta rapper Soulja Boy‘s not going to let a potential four-year prison sentence make him fall back from social media. The hip-hop artist has updated fans on his status following a courtroom appearance.

Big Soulja went to Instagram Monday (January 23) night and proved he’s still standing.

Yesterday, reports surfaced about Soulja possibly facing multiple years behind bars over a felony gun possession charge.

The L.A. County D.A. just slapped him with 2 felonies — possession of an assault weapon and being a felon in possession of a firearm. He was also charged with a misdemeanor for receiving stolen property … cops say one of the guns in Soulja’s house was reportedly stolen from a cop car. The assault weapon charge is for a Mini Draco AR-15 … which is illegal for anyone to possess in California. (TMZ)

Big Soulja made headlines last month after getting arrested on a gun-related charge.

Way was arrested by Los Angeles police at his house on December 15th. The rapper was on probation from a previous firearms charge and had been ordered not to possess any weapons, but law enforcement allegedly found the rapper with a Mini Draco AR-IS assault weapon and a Glock 21 handgun, according to the D.A.’s office. Prosecutors said one of the firearms had been reported stolen from a police vehicle in Huntington Beach, California. (Rolling Stone)

Last week, Soulja Boy hinted at music rival Chris Brown possibly wanting to ditch their upcoming boxing match.
