According to SB, he sees himself going to the top of the rap food chain and leaving behind a legacy.

“I want to be the best rapper. Really. Deep down. As much as n*ggas hate on me and talk sh*t, I still come out with the hits. I still make the hardest beats. I drop a video all the time. I always have people talking about me. I always rock. My secret is, I really want this sh*t. You know what I am saying? A lot of rappers , they be in this position, they don’t really want this sh*t.” (XXL Mag)

The ATL native also dished on what music collaborations and aspirations he still has.

“I want another platinum album. I want another diamond album. I want a Grammy. I want a collab with Jay Z. I want a collab with Rihanna. … I’m 23, I ain’t gonna be rapping when I am 40. I’ma stop at, like, 30-something. Retire at 29 or some sh*t. I feel like once I’m 30–“OK, I’m going to own a corporation or some sh*t.” (XXL Mag)

Soulja Boy heated up the ‘net this week with the release of a new mixtape.

King Soulja 2 is a new 23-track mixtape from the inimitable Soulja Boy, a sequel to his May 2013 project of the same name, which you can cop here. The tape features guest appearances from Agoff, Shawty Boy, Migos and Lil B The Based God himself, and includes the standout cuts “Work,” “Macklemore” and Drake’s “We Made It” remix. (HNHH)

Last year, SB stirred up rumors about a possible signing to Cash Money Records.

It hasn’t been even 2 weeks since the release of Soulja Boy’s King Soulja mixtape but the rapper returns today with another free EP of 5 songs. Jointly hosted by Rich Gang? Maybe he’s signing to Cash Money soon. (HHNM)
