Rapper Somaya Reece has publicly called out R&B singer Olivia for allegedly spreading rumors about her and divulged details about their recent confrontation.
According to Reece, Olivia is perpetrating a false image of herself.
“I’m happy she’s doing her thing, she’s trying to do a comeback because I do believe everybody deserves that but this chick, from the moment I met her, is bad energy,” Reece told DJ Vlad in an interview. “She’s phony, she’s talking sh*t about my homegirl. The sad part about it is she doesn’t even know me, she has no idea where I come from and she should be happy I’m talking about her because I’m making her relevant again, Olivia, which is what you want because I know you need the money because you’re trying to get out of your mama’s house which is where you live — I know at the end of the day, you are manipulative, you’re bad energy — after I sized you up, you just ran away like a little b*tch into a van and you wouldn’t come out.” (Vlad TV)
Reece also taunted Olivia for behaving timidly during their latest encounter.
“She ran away into the van and this other girl came out to get her,” Reece added. “She locked the door scared, I know I’m tall and everything but the truth is you’ve been saying things trying to sabotage my life. And you’re not just sabotaging just me, you’re sabotaging my mother and my father who I take care of financially with my money so you understand my movement is humble. Your movement is not. Your movement is completely materialistic, you live for it and I don’t because if it was all gone tomorrow, guess what, I would know how to survive. You can’t survive on the streets for sh*t. Last month, rumors hit the Internet claiming there were bad feelings shared between Reece and Olivia.
Recently the two attended an event in New York – and our witnesses say Somaya approached Olivia who’d been talking about her behind her back and comfronted her on it calling her every name in the book, and our snitches say Somaya put Olivia to tears and she ran away like a little blonde girl. As of now, Olivia is reportedly working on a new release.
“The album ‘Show The World’ is coming soon; it’s completely done. We’re still working on a date. I got Missy Elliott on there, Ne-Yo, Brian Cox. The album is real sexy but I’m also talking about love, dabbling in a little heartbreak, things of that nature. I believe in approach. I might say things that are a little bit nasty but because I sing so sweet, you can’t really tell [laughs]. But I’m also not saying any outlandish things. I’m just speaking from my heart and saying how I feel. Majority of my music is a true story.
