[With today marking Bad Boy CEO Diddy's 41st birthday, SOHH has compiled a Top 5 list of celebrity guests you probably won't catch toasting to his honor today.]
“As far as all the people at Bad Boy, nobody reached out to me [when I was in jail] because all it takes is the press of a button, department of corrections, you know my name and birthday, I used to work here,” Black Rob said in an interview. “When I heard this n*gga went to see [Lil] Wayne in jail and you ain’t come and see BR? After all the years we spent together? Like, that sh*t didn’t mean nothing to you, dawg? You actually think I’m not your man? So that right there, told me, that n*gga was never my man. You had like 50 employees, you ain’t even have to write the letter — Puff wasn’t the one doing the records with me, he was just the last word. ‘Good record. I like that, I wanna get on that.’ He’s not in the studio, 20 hours, 15 hours with me, never. It wasn’t no love over there man. It wasn’t no love. Dudes was just using, just trying to use me…They used the Black Rob Report as a spring board for the Biggie duet album. Puff wasn’t doing nothing. He ain’t have no records out. It was dry, everybody was going.”
Whoa. Even though Black Rob huffed and puffed and eventually apologized for everything he said about Diddy, we doubt he’ll be getting cake from Bad Boy any time soon.
“Dear Diddy” is “real controversial,” he said. “It’s Tupac’s ‘Ambitionz Az a Ridah.’ The music is responding to everything he said negative towards me. This is how I feel. It’s not one of those things where it’s a killing beef. It’s just we have creative differences. I felt disrespected, [so now] you’re gonna feel disrespected.”

Kim continued her anti-Nicki Minaj campaign at Sonar Nightclub in Baltimore last night and this time, she added her soon-to-be manager, Puff into the mix. Around the :27 mark of “It’s All About The Benjamins” performance, the Queen Bee says “Ay, Puffy should be ashamed of his f*ckin’ self!”.
Love/Hate. We get it, some wounds are hard to heal and even though Kim feels Diddy allowed her to be portrayed falsley in the “Notorious” flick, as well as left her alone to play with his new “Barbie”, we’re sure she still wants to blow out some candles with Diddy today.
“I want it known that this supposed conversation is a figment of Sean Combs’ imagination,” Shyne says in a statement. “He never spoke with me, he never visited me nor would I ever accept a phone call or visit from him. The only way I would do either of those things would be if he stepped up and did the right thing for the victims of the incident.”
Although Shyne could not legally attend the party due to deportation issues, we gotta think at least Diddy can now save $10,000 on security for the party without having to worry about a “disruption.”
In August 1995, Death Row CEO Suge Knight took a dig at Bad Boy and Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs at that year’s Source Awards; announcing to the assembly of artists and industry figures: “Any artist out there that want to be an artist and stay a star, and don’t have to worry about the executive producer trying to be all in the videos…All on the records…dancing, come to Death Row!”
The East Coast/West Coast rivalry may be long and gone, but if there’s one thing Diddy definitely does NOT want on his birthday, it’s someone looking to cash in an “I.O.U.” With Suge no longer having Death Row or commercially-successful artists under his wing, we think Diddy may keep the doors bolted shut on this special Knight.

“He wouldn’t have wanted me to go,” so she said, adding that she wasn’t afraid at all but just wanted it “to be dramatic. I wanted him to know I wasn’t breaking up with him for two weeks or maybe leaving for two days. If I pack up everything; twins and all it means I’m out! Puffy’s an action person, not a talk person. So I had to have an action. Telling him, ‘Babe, I’m leaving …’ was not gonna do it.”
While its fashionable to have baby mama drama these days, Kim has been nothing less than special to Diddy. Sure, child support payments and false rumors have gotten blown out of proportion, but on Diddy’s birthday, much like any day, we’re sure she’ll get her cake.
“Yes, he still is bitter. It’s like can I live. I have love for him and he’s my family and I’m going to always support him and have his back. But, when you can have everything sometimes and you can’t have that one little thing, you are not use to that. That’s so over. I’m not saying he’s actively trying to pursue me but I get a hard time sometimes. It’s like “what’s the problem”? You’d think I’d be the one acting like that. I stay out of your way.”
Again, if there is one thing a rap star like Diddy can not afford, it is having an unhappy baby’s mother. While she may not be seen sipping Ciroc with the birthday boy, we’ll sure she’ll get caked up and iced (cream) out tonight.
