SOHH March Madness: “He’s One Of The Best In Rap. He’s Out There Being Wild & Having Fun”

[Starting 5: With the annual NCAA March Madness tournament in full swing, SOHH asks your favorite hip-hop artists to name their rap-based starting five team line-ups. Today, West Coast rapper Mann brings out his Mann Squad.]

Point Guard: Kendrick Lamar

For point guard, I’m going with Kendrick Lamar. I’m a huge Kendrick Lamar fan. As far as subject matter, he has one of the biggest movements. I’m influenced by what he’s doing.

Shooting Guard: Mann

With the shots, I would be the shooter. When it comes to the music, I do what I do. I think I have a really good impact. I have a good fan base along with a radio presence as well. I’m always coming out and doing what y’all want.

Small Forward: Bobby Brackins

I am putting my home boy Bobby Brackins for the small forward. He always plays that role as the game-winning shot taker. Me and Bobby are really good friends and I think he’s also really talented. I can’t wait for the world to know about his talent, we already know out here on the West Coast.

Power Forward: Schoolboy Q

I’m putting Schoolboy Q at my power forward. You can always count on him. Whenever I listen to him, I think he did it. He’s a gangster. I love Schoolboy Q, he always keeps it so real.

Center: Tyler, the Creator

He’s kind of crazy. I feel like he’s one of the best in rap. He’s out there being wild and having fun. He’s really holding it down for the West Coast. Even though he doesn’t really say West Coast, he’s still holding it down.
