While Snoop remembers late music moguls like Tupac Shakur and Nate Dogg, he also pays homage to former No Limit Records rapper Mr. Magic, who died last week in a fatal car crash.

Snoop Dogg sheds a tear for all his fallen soldiers on his new track “Heaven.” In the wake of No Limit affiliate Mr. Magic’s death, Snoop Dogg dedicates an entire tribute track to all of his fallen homies, including Nate Dogg and Tupac. “Heaven wouldn’t be the same without you, wouldn’t be the same without you, my oh my,” the hook rings. Snoop Dogg is going on tour in 2013. The “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper is also scheduled to headline the Soundset Festival in Michigan this year. (Global Grind)

Last weekend, No Limit Records rapper Silkk The Shocker offered his condolences to Magic’s family.

“Prayers goes to the Family and Friends of Mr. Magic. him and Wife died in a car accident last night..” (Silkk The Shocker’s Twitter)

Incarcerated rapper C-Murder also sent positive thoughts following the breaking news.

“Moment of silence for the big homie MR. MAGIC! #TRU #NOLIMITSOLDIER! RIP @MrMagic504 & his wife. Prayers are with you and your family.” (C-Murder’s Twitter)

Reports of the rapper’s death flooded the Internet last Saturday (March 2).

No Limit Records recording artist Mr. Magic and his wife reportedly died in a car accident last night in Mississippi. The silver lining? Magic’s daughter reportedly survived the wreck. He was also known as one-third of the Body Head Bangerz, alongside fellow No Limit alumnus Choppa and rapper/boxer Roy Jones, Jr. Condolences to Magic and his family. (Complex)
