After Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka Flame recently labeled Pittsburgh's Wiz Khalifa swag-less, hip-hop veteran Snoop Dogg has stepped forward to play referee.

Speaking up for Wiz, Snoop promised to hit up Waka Flocka and handle the matter personally.

“I’ma holla at Waka Flocka,” Snoop said sitting next to Wiz. “That’s where big Uncle Snoop come in at, ’cause we ain’t about that negativity and none of that beef. We too old for that. I’ma snatch him up by the collar and say, ‘Look here, partna. You got somethin’ to say to Wiz, get at him personally.’ We peaceful. We on nothing but peace right now. This is my guy right here — I love Wiz ’cause he got the right spirit that hip-hop needs. Too much negativity in the industry that always overwhelms his kind of spirit, and I’m here to let people know that this is the right kind of spirit.” (“Big Boy’s Neighborhood”)

Last month, Waka Flocka named Wiz as a rapper suffering from no having swag.

“Yo [Kay] Slay, how you feel about these rap n*ggas with all that hype man,” Waka Flocka asked in an interview. “They ain’t got no swag when they really, they hyped their way to the top. [I’m behaving myself lately.] Me too. I ain’t even gonna lie. I ain’t even gonna lie, right. … I feel like they don’t respect nothing but the real. You gotta. Wiz. Wiz. [laughs]” (Street Heat TV)

In 2011, Khalifa responded to fake remarks allegedly made by Wu-Tang Clan’s Ghostface Killah.

Looks like Wiz Khalifa just made a rookie mistake when he dissed Ghostface Killah based on false information. The rapper went on controversial talk show hosts Star & Buck Wild‘s morning show on 100.3 The Beat In Philly to talk music, the album, and his single “Roll Up”. Star, who’s known for bringing the drama, then asked Wiz about Ghost’s allegedly negative comments towards the rapper’s debut single “Roll Up.” The on-air DJ claimed Ghostface said “This Roll Up ish kinda soft. By that mean you could probably rock a crying baby to sleep with this ish. Guys could grow breasts listening to it.” Wiz, making the mistake of not verifying the comment, went in on the legendary rapper by calling Ghost “corny” and claiming that “he played himself.” (VIBE)

The real Ghostface later hit up Twitter and denied going at Khalifa.

“Ayo i wanna address this bullsh*t going on, this website called bigghostnahmean is a fake website which i have no affiliation with or did i say anthing negative about any of them artists up on that page, got respect for all the young cats coming up doin they thing. tell the kid Wiz, its all love i respect him as a artist and got no issues wit him at all, Once again the website is fake, its not ya boy!” (Ghostface Killah’s Twitter)
