“Jersey Shore” television reality star Snooki has responded to Ne-Yo‘s recent swipes at her making the new cover of Rolling Stone magazine.
Writing her response via Twitter, Snooki admitted feeling slighted by the singer’s unexpected comments.
“Neyo’s mad that I got the cover of rolling stone? Hm you lost a loyal fan. What a buzz kill.#sorry,” she tweeted March 8th. (Snooki’s Twitter)
Ne-Yo took to Twitter earlier this week to speak on Snooki’s cover shot.
“Wow. Snooki is on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. Really? I quit. (Just kidding, but almost serious….),” he tweeted March 7th.
“No disrespect to Snooki, I don’t know her, but damn Rolling Stone? REALLY? REALLY! I guess…..”
“I feel a rant coming on, but at the sake of sounding like I’m complaining or even hating, Imma chill. I got y’all. New album on the way.”
“I WILL get the respect I deserve in this business or I won’t be in this business. PERIOD. Have a #splendid day twit fam!!” (Ne-Yo’s Twitter)
A day prior, pop star singer Pink also revealed her shocked reaction.
“Dear Rolling Stone, Really??,” Pink tweeted March 6th. (Pink’s Twitter)
Snooki is featured on the Rolling Stone cover riding a missile.
Yes, the new cover features none other than Jersey Shore’s Snooki, and to be more specific, Snooki is being launched on a missile with the words: Snooki’s Wild Ride (America’s #1 Party Girl) underneath. The real sting of it all (aside from this being her second RS cover) is that in tiny print somewhere under the missile head is the name: Radiohead. You know, the highly successful band that just dropped their latest album? That would have been a nice cover. (Gothamist)
