Slim Thug On Obama, “His Speech Was So Empowering”

In honor of Black History Month, Slim Thug spoke on the power of President Barack Obama’s speeches.

Slim Thug told SOHH that he was inspired by Obama‘s powerful speeches.

“He sounds so intelligent and I really believe in him. From just how he spoke to me and when I sit there and watch his speeches it just really inspires me to be a better person. So I really believe he got that blessing and that power to reach so many people.”

“His speeches was just so empowering. It’s hard to deny that. He did a lot of things. I never actually paid attention to a campaign ever before but he was able to grasp my attention. Not just me a lot of my people around me. Through internet I was getting pages every day, updates of what’s going on and what we need to do. He ran a brilliant campaign.”

Last fall, Slim Thug spit some bars about Obama on “Do It For H Town” a song on Chamillionaire‘s Mixtape Messiah 4.
