Writing on his Twitter page, Slim revealed that it was his ex-wifey who convinced him to join the popular social network.

“#RANDOM @LeToyaLuckett set up my twitter account and convinced me to get on twitter to show my personality so blame her for everything I say,” he wrote Tuesday (August 10) afternoon.

“I just remembered that gnr.” (Slim Thug’s Twitter)

In the past, Slim made headlines for dating the R&B star.

“I love it,” Slim Thug told AllHipHop.com in 2006. “You know I was with her the whole time she was making the album [Letoya], so I’m happy to see that what we were doing came out good. We used to be together, she was my girlfriend – so I wish her all of the success…She’s been working hard. She’s on tour right now with Mary J. Blige. She’s Houston too, we all gotta represent right.” (Juicy News)

Earlier this year, Slim revealed why he and LeToya really broke up.

There’s a Twitter companion called Formspring that allows users, both celebrity and non-, to send and receive anonymous questions. Yesterday, somebody asked Slim Thug why he and former girlfriend LeToya Luckett broke-up. Are you surprised by his answer? “I cheated and had a baby with another chick it all went down from there.” (Hello Beautiful)

Recently, Slim Thug penned a column about dating.

“My girl is Black and White. I guess the half White in her is where she still cooks and do all the sh*t that I say, so we make it. She just takes care of me and I like that. She don’t be begging and I don’t gotta buy her all this crazy a** sh*t…White women treat they man like a king and Black women feel like they ain’t gotta do that sh*t. Black women need to stand by their man more. Don’t always put the pressure of if I’m f*cking with you, you gotta buy me this and that. Black men are the ones that motherf*ckers need [but] I think a lot of them need to step it up too. A Black man who gets a little bread will go make it rain in the club and be broke the next day or instead of him going to invest in a business he gonna go buy new jewelry or a new car and still live in the hood. Black peoples’ mentality is real f*cked up in general [and] it’s affecting everything…Black women need to be more genuine and be more 50/50 [but] It should be a fair exchange in a relationship period or eventually somebody is gonna feel like they’re getting f*cked over whether it’s the woman or the man. I think that will help Black relationships out a lot.” (VIBE)

  1. Pusha has an album name and has a track he is yet to release. I say he should be next….Kanye needs to give him the kind of push Ross gave Wale and Meek. Drop the album while the buzz is here. Pusha is on a platinum record and he is doing guest spots and interviews and stuff everywhere from tv to concerts to radio to magazines. Group albums that are from the label are meant to set up for solo projects….it’s a shame that eminem couldn’t do it with stat quo after re up. I think Kanye should go for having a pusha t single that will appear on both albums..
