Slaughterhouse’s KXNG Crooked has an opinion about the annual XXL Freshman Class covers. The hip-hop veteran has weighed-in on the publication’s lack of featuring battle rappers.
Crooked went to Instagram this week with a heavy suggestion for the popular rap magazine.
This week, hip-hop newcomer Aminé appeared to express some frustrations over his presence on the XXL Freshman Class of 2017 cover.
“XXL I am very happy, I’m honored actually, but I’m disappointed. Like, y’all wasn’t finna tell me that we did a whole a** photo shoot. When, when did this happen? Basically, my thoughts on this matter is if I show up to your doorstep with a whole a** pony you’d be like, ‘Oh my God, it’s a pony! Thank-you!’ It’d be nice to know, you know, a week in advance that you was going to give me a pony . So XXL I’ma have my people call your people.”

Some of the hip-hop artists like A Boogie With Da Hoodie and Kamaiyah immediately reacted to the prestigious honor.
