Shyne Blasts Rick Ross’ ‘Bart Mitzvah’ Tape: “You’re On Me, You’re Obsessed W/ Everything Shyne”

Former Bad Boy Records rapper Shyne has a bone to pick with Rick Ross, calling out the Maybach Music Group leader over his new Black Bar Mitzvah mixtape.

Shyne called out Ricky Rozay for appearing to swagger jack his own style.

“I ain’t mad. It’s just, I think he’s corny. … I have no respect for what he represents, for who he is, let’s just start with that,” the former Bad Boy rapper and Orthodox Jew said to MTV News on Monday (October 8). “The Black Bar Mitzvah, to me, you’re on me, you’re obsessed with everything Shyne. All of a sudden, you running with the Star of David and dudes is Jewish now all of a sudden?” (MTV)

The New York emcee also hopped on his Twitter page to blast Ross.

“He’s alright but he’s not real! He’s a cop! He’s not real! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ohMMwEYYcd0&feature=youtube_gdata_player … ,” he tweeted October 8th.

“F#%^ the police & the former correctional officers! If u a police lover f#%^ u too!”

“I got partners doing life cause they really slung dope. I despise someone who lies about that life” (Shyne’s Twitter)

Last year, Shyne also attacked the Miami rapper’s image and past employment as a correction officer.

“The difference between me and everybody else, I was talking to Fat Joe the other day when he was like, ‘Yo, it’s entertainment,’ and I was like, ‘That’s the difference between me and a former correction officer or any of these other dudes.’ It’s not entertainment for me. You dig? Whatever I give you, is me…[I’m definitely talking about] Rick Ross. Absolutely. He’s the only officer I know that’s a rapper. I don’t know anybody else that used to be a cop that raps…Hip-Hop comes from the gutter, it’s from the struggle, from the dudes that’s in prison so for a dude that used to lock dudes in, for the dude that used to be like, ‘Yo, on the wake up! You got a visit,’ for that dude to turn into the biggest gangsta rapper is like shocking to me. I don’t even understand that. That makes no sense to me…” (Superstar Radio)

Back in 2009, the “Boss” told SOHH how much respect he had for the ex-Bad Boy.

“I can’t wait,” Ross said about Shyne’s release. “You know that last album, Godfather Buried Alive, sh*t was hard. Sh*t was hard and not to mention his first album, when he first came out. The Barrington Levy sh*ts, some of my favorite records right there and just everything he represents, his love for it. He handled his business like a ‘G.’ He went and handled his business so it is what it is. He’s got a lot to come home to, he most definitely has the streets waiting for him and he most definitely get anything he needs on this side from you know, n*ggas like us.” (SOHH)
