Lauryn Hill. I have to name her just because she’s dope. I think that everything Lauryn Hill did was dope. I think when people talk about her and female rappers, she could hold her own with anybody. Truthfully. -
Lil Wayne. I don’t know. It’s just something about him. It’s something about when I hear a Lil Wayne song. Maybe it’s just the production or maybe it’s his voice. I like that lil’ guy.

Method Man. It’s just something about him. I think he’s one of the more underrated emcees out there. I just really like him.

Talib Kweli. I always thought Talib Kweli was a great emcee. I really want to put Mos Def in here but I’m going to give the spot to Talib Kweli.

Guru. Gang Starr was one of my favorite groups in the ’90s and early 2000’s. Since he passed away, I’ve gone back and started listening to Gang Starr again, and he was really a great emcee. Intelligent, great flow and great voice. His work with jazz musicians was also dope.
