Asked about contact frequency with the Unit, Cashis said he still reserves loyalty toward them based off their affiliation with Shady Records’ Eminem.

“Yeah, I mean everything is still cool. It was never like, we just hanging around each other all day everyday. But everything is still cool. It’s a business. I don’t know. I mean I’m on Shady. They do what they do. But its still like, we on the same team. I know when I came out, I thought it was like a gang. I’m like ” woo, woo, woo..” and chasing people out clubs, wearing G-Unot T-Shirts. And I got talking to my brother Kino, and he was like, “What are you doing? You putting your life on the line.” I was like “I’m riding.” But, you know, I still have a line of communication with them, but its not like we chilling together, or doing all that. I’m concerned about getting my money, and they concerned about getting they money too. They getting hot again, to where they trying to do a takeover. I’m doing the same thing. I don’t have all the bread they got, but I’m getting my money in, and I’m getting super hot. And it makes sense. Cause I don’t ever want to have to pay anyone to do a record with me. If I can do a record with Em, we just trade art. You respect me, I respect you. But I just want people to see that I’m going somewhere, and so that way, we can make some money to where it’s a favor for a favor.” (All Hip Hop)

Earlier this summer, G-Unit Records signed a deal with EMI Music.

“We are delighted to join forces with G-Unit and artists who are truly marquee names in hip-hop,” EMI Music Vice President Mike Harris recently said in a statement. “G-Unit is a huge force. Lloyd Banks knows how to deliver a lyrical punch and his single has already generated huge anticipation for the album.. Tony Yayo is a totally unique talent, and ‘Pass the Patron’ already has the hip hop world buzzing about his album coming out next year.” (Hip Hop N More)

Aside from the Unit, Cashis previously talked about ex-labelmates Obie Trice and Bobby Creekwater parting ways with Em’s label.

“That’s probably it they didn’t want to wait any more,” he said in an interview. “Patience is a virtue like you could be upset with your momma, but at the end of the day that’s not what you feel. I can’t really speak on their situation like why they left or whatever. Obie is my partner straight up he’s a real dude. He’s doing good so some things are meant to be but I can’t speak on other peoples situation. I support them in whatever they do and no one has ever left Shady Records talking really crazy so it’s always a mutual split.” (Q The Question)

Recently, Em’s manager Paul Rosenberg said his client was focused on rebuilding Shady Records.

“I think he’s really focused on the creative side. He’s never been someone who’s set out to have a bunch of different companies out there, sort of playing the system. He’s just not that kind of guy.” The one project Eminem and Rosenberg are focused on is the rebuilding of their label, Shady Records. “What we mean by that is finding great new artists,” Rosenberg says. “That’s one of the things he is passionate about.” Eminem has cited underground all-star group Slaughterhouse as his first planned signing, and he says more artists are on the table but not ready to be announced. 1. CONGRATS TO MIAMI EVEN THOUGH THE NBA IS FIXED LIKE JIM ROME SAID IM SURE LIL WAYNE IS READY TO RIDE THE BANDWAGON SMFH

  2. This time lebron james does not feel any pressure. He plays his game like the way he used to play.
All he wants is to be a champion which he feels the management in Cleveland Cavaliers cannot provide him.
So he goes to miami where he feel there is so much help the gets. The only issue is the way he presented his
decision to the public which is very insulting to cleveland fans.He made a mistake and he must be humble with it.
