Boot Camp Clik’s Sean Price has reminded hip-hop fans of his disliking toward G.O.O.D. Music artist Kid Cudi‘s music and offered a special message to the rapper’s fans.
Although he recently, playfully, told Cudi fans to kill themselves, Sean P. offered an alternative to the artist’s following.
“I’m here, just got busy, special guest, that Joell Ortiz sh*t,” Price said outside of a nigh spot. “I said some sh*t about Kid Cudi, I still don’t like his music but suicide, that’s serious. I don’t want nobody to kill theyself. But if you a Kid Cudi fan, cut your ear off…” (Forbez DVD)
In October, Price came forward to clarify telling Cudder fanatics to “kill yourself.”
“You know what, I know I just said that, it’s not no real, I don’t know what you want to call it — I shouldn’t have said it like that,” Price explained in an interview. “Even if you don’t like they fans, you don’t tell them to kill themselves because you know suicide [ain’t] nothing to play with. So for that part, I apologize. It’s music-wise though, I don’t want to see them beat him up in the street or put harm on him…I still don’t like his music.” (Supa Laura’s Raw & Uncut)
Price initially mocked Cudi’s supporters and their appreciation of the rapper’s material.
“If you got Sean Price in your playlist and Kid Cudi in the same playlist, you need to don’t be my fan no more, get outta here,” Price said in a video. “Matter of fact, if you’re a Kid Cudi fan, kill yourself. And that’s all I got to say about that.” (Pound)
Despite Price’s words, Cudi’s new sophomore album has managed to sell units on Nielsen SoundScan.
G.O.O.D. Music rapper Kid Cudi’s Man on the Moon 2 took a hit falling 18 slots to No. 21 with 36,000. With two weeks in the books, Cudder’s sophomore LP has shelled out 205,800 records to date. (SOHH Sales Wrap)
