In Face Mob’s opinion, Sterling should feel no urge to openly apologize for his leaked audio recording hitting the masses.

“I don’t feel like he should apologize. Why should he? I don’t apologize. Why should he? Why would he? For what? Ain’t no–Sorry for what? Sorry for what? What you sorry about? ‘I’m sorry because I don’t like black people.’ No sir. Why you sorry about that?” (AHH)

This week, Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz said he believed everyone has made controversial comments in private but acknowledged Sterling messed up by getting caught.

“I just think it’s a crazy situation. For me, period, I feel like some of us assume people in certain positions have this mind frame, or at least I do, without actually having to hear it but when you hear the confirmation, it makes you feel a certain way. But my whole opinion, I’m sure a few of us in here have said a few things to our friends whether playing or serious that we’re glad weren’t recorded and given to TMZ. … At the end of the day, he f*cked up.” (“Chelsea Lately”)

Weekend reports revealed Sterling had admitted he wished things turned out differently.

Donald Sterling has finally broken his silence … telling an L.A. magazine, “I wish I had just paid her off.” The disgraced L.A. Clippers owner made the comment about V. Stiviano to DuJour Magazine. The mag claims Sterling is not done talking — and has already lined up interviews with Barbara Walters and the NBA. Though it’s unclear when he plans to talk to them. (TMZ)

Sterling’s girlfriend also came forward and addressed the situation.

In an exclusive with ABC’s Barbara Walters on Friday, she said Sterling is hurting after the scandal that turned him into a sports pariah. “I think he feels very alone. Not truly supported by those around him,” Stiviano, 31, said. “Tormented. Emotionally traumatized.” But, she told Walters, this is not the first time they’ve discussed race. “There’s been a number of occasions where Mr. Sterling and I had conversations just like this one,” she said. “Part of what the world heard was only 15 minutes. There’s a number of other hours that the world doesn’t know.” (CNN)
