New York rapper Safaree Samuels is still out here asking for Nicki Minaj to put some respect on his name. The hip-hop artist has confirmed helping Barbie’s chart-topping takeover.
Appearing on “The Wendy Williams Show” this week, Safaree did not hold back on taking credit for Nicki’s early success.
Recently, Safaree weighed-in on rapper Remy Ma‘s now-epic anti-Nicki “ShETHER” diss song.
“I ain’t gonna lie, credibility-wise, it’s definitely some, it’s just a disrespectful record. It’s probably the most disrespectful record I ever heard in my life. Very disrespectful. Top 5. [Nicki’s response?] I don’t know but it’s like what can you even say? It’s not even about the streets being behind her. What can you say to Remy? I don’t get caught up in the whole female beef thing. I’ma try to mind my business as much as possible.” (TMZ)
Coincidentally, Safaree previously revealed his interest in possibly reuniting with Nicki.
“You know what, I don’t know – not in the light of bringing it back to what it was, but just on some, the work tip? I think the culture needs that. [Business-wise?] Yeah, yeah, yeah.”

Recently, Safaree raised eyebrows after revealing he’d work with Minaj’s rap rival Lil’ Kim if the opportunity presented itself.
So since he played such a major role why can’t he put himself on then.
Some people are just good at writing bars not spitting them. Some people can spit bars but can’t write. Thats why
Lot’s of ghost writers never popped all crazy as as an artist.
Skillz ,Sauce Money, Consquence, Gillie Da Kid , Pharoah Monch, RhymeFest are a few that come to mind
so dude taking cred for everything now, he making it seems like he writes everything. no wonder female don’t get the respect on certain level in hip-hop.
