New York rapper Safaree Samuels has finally stepped up to place some clarity into his publicized dispute with Young Money's Nicki Minaj this past weekend.
Confronted by paparazzi, Samuels assured concerned fans he still supported Nicki despite their split.
“It’s definitely not a Twitter war. It’s just a misunderstanding, you know? I don’t know, it’s somebody out there putting poison out but definitely nothing but love. Don’t believe none of that. I support her in everything she do. Her music, her family, like, that’s somebody [I care about]. Twelve years is a long time. That’s not something you just forget about.” (TMZ)

Nicki took to her Twitter page and unleashed her frustrations with Samuels a few days ago.
Instead of falling back, Safaree responded to Nicki’s remarks.
Talking to radio veteran Angie Martinez last week, Nicki did not hold back on addressing the split.
“I don’t think people realize it’s not just a relationship or breakup. That was a humongous part of my life. It is something that I am dealing with publicly and it’s not easy. I’m also not gonna joke about it or try to disrespect him and try to act like he didn’t mean the world to me and still doesn’t mean the world to me. The YMCMB rap star also admitted the music industry forced them apart.
