Check out what backlash Safaree recently received right here…

New York radio station Hot 97 host Ebro slammed Safaree for speaking out on his relationship to Nicki publicly earlier this month.

“I spoke to Nicki yesterday and she was upset about all of this and I just told her to be patient because in a few weeks this will all be gone and no one will be talking about your ex and your old relationships, but she was most upset about the idea that someone else was writing her rhymes. He asserted that there was help. When you look at Nicki Minaj’s album credits, there’s a lot of people that work on albums… But when you assert that somebody wrote your rhymes – you know that’s Nicki’s thing. But I told you that’s why he did it, because he knew that would hurt you.” (Hot 97)

Ebro also questioned why Safaree did not take the time to venture out with his own business ventures.

“Like how you with Nicki Minaj and you can’t play the back my G? You know he was chilling get cars, motorcycles, living in the houses, all dat. You can’t just kick back, start a business? Buy a Dunkin Donuts, a Wing Stop, my G?” (Hot 97)

Samuels defended his decision to not bash Nicki in the media earlier the same week.

“I would never do anything publicly to try and pull her down. Whatever happens between me and her one on one, it is what is, you know and that’s personal and I would never put that out there. I could be out here telling a million stories and doing cornball sh*t like that, but I’m not going to do that, I never would do that and I never plan on doing that.” (“The Breakfast Club”)

  1. Well he did say he was involved with everything creatively….maybe there’s sum $$$ missing he tryna collect. But I didn’t hear him say he wrote her stuff. She must’ve sent the goons out for him to pit this out!

    • that bitch aint got no goons if she did she wouldnt be half kims age and duckin her wreck lol.. i think this bitch ass nigga just sprung and she called him and he backtracking he a sucka a cold fucking sucka lol

  2. He never said that he wrote her rhymes. He assisted. They were together for 12 years they probably did everything together. So I can see what he said, he assisted her with some things here and there.. they were a couple a duet… Maybe she did call him and twisted his arm to change the story to make it sound less like he wrote her rhymes. Time will tell though, as you can see Lil Kim’s career went mediocre after BIG passed.

    • Lil Kim first album came out in 96. Sold 1.4mil. Big died in 97. Her second album came out in 2000. Sold 1.4mil in the states alone, 3.2 worldwide. Next album in 03. Sold 1.1mil in the states and 2mil worldwide. We can’t say that she “went mediocre” after big passed. She became the biggest female rapper in the game after big passed. Just looking at the numbers; however, you are correct about one thing. Time will tell.

      • I agree with what you’re saying. Maybe I used the wrong choice of words however we all can agree that no matter how many records she sold her lyrical content changed throughout each album. Listening to Pink Friday, Pink Friday Roman Reloaded & The Pinkprint including shorty’s mixtapes it’s all been a consistency in her craft. And if Sarafee road with her on all these records and songs and it simple changes then we already know what it is.

  3. the seed is all ready planted you knew what you was doing when you went to the breakfast club no back track
