According to Dash, he is responsible for contributing to Wale’s Ambition “Lotus Bomb” smash hit.

“Everybody go get the G.O.O.D album and listen to #1 then watch @kanyewest interview http://www.worldstarhiphop.com/videos/video.php?v=wshh8j7a0N2QaLcHwAH9 … & tell me y I’m not on the credits,” he tweeted September 20th.

“Can’t do favors for niggas bcuz no matter how humble and generous u r to ppl niggas will take everything u have … Even niggas u look up to”

“The most talented ppl get the least credit for everything and the crazy part is they put in the MOST work…”

“Same shyt with @wale lotus flower bomb I wrote that for him b4 he even signed to Ross & it went #1” (Roscoe Dash’s Twitter)

He also went on to defend putting both Ye and Wale on blast.

“….but nobody would kno that cuz I’m not in the credits,” he added.

“But EVERYTHING must eventually come to the light….”

“& I’m only speaking on this publicly bcuz there are so many ppl who wanna be apart of the industry but dnt Kno half of the shit that goes on”

“After getting off the phone with @wale I feel like I need to clarify I WROTE THE HOOK for “lotus flowerbomb” not his verses”

“However the record went #1 & I wasnt credited”

“& as far as @KanyeWest “To The World” if u listen close my adlibs are STILL in the song” (Roscoe Dash’s Twitter)

Last winter, Dash hit up SOHH and talked about getting industry gems from working with Yeezy.

“When people ask me who is my favorite person that I’ve worked with I always say Kanye. Ye is so, so creative … he always maintains such a high level of creativity and energy going whenever you’re in the room with him. I admire that about him … I learned so much about him in such a short amount of time, it’s ridiculous. He’s really down to Earth. He’ll ask you, ‘Yo — what do you think about this?’ Then he figures out the best way to troubleshoot and make the song the best that it can be. He’s never been afraid to step into other lanes and add a little depth to his music. He takes his music and just does this crazy stuff to it to make it poppin’ and really have it appeal to everybody.” (SOHH)

Recently, rap veteran Busta Rhymes weighed in on the controversies behind ghost-writing.

“I kind of just look to the facts for the truth. You got to research the facts. You can take a little bit from everywhere, but you research it and you get the facts. Fortunately I have access to a lot of resourceful information and people, so I base my sh*t on that. But speaking on the Nas ghostwriter thing, I think that’s really funny because I’ve known Nas from before he put out a solo album. I sat in Large Professor‘s house, and he actually made the “Halftime” beat for me. The “Halftime” beat on the Illmatic album was originally for Busta Rhymes. I didn’t know what to do with it. I gave it to Nas and he sledgehammered that. Back then, Nas recorded in Power Play Studios [in Queens]. Power Play was also where Leaders Of The New School recorded some of the first Leaders’ album.” (VIBE)
