Thicke teased fans with his new Paula music video preview via Instagram.

The teaser gives glimpses at a woman who resembles the singer’s estranged wife Paula Patton. She sends him text messages, including one that reads, “I kept trying to warn you you were pushing me too far.” A bloodied Thicke then appears on the screen, looking desperate as he tells her that he just wants to “make it right.” The full music video will be released on Monday, June 23. Barring any last-minute changes, Thicke’s next studio release will come packed wth 14 songs.

1. “You’re My Fantasy” 2. “Get Her Back” 3. “Still Madly Crazy” 4. “Lock the Door” 5. “Whatever I Want” 6. “Living in New York City” 7. “Love Can Grow Back” 8. “Black Tar Cloud” 9. “Too Little Too Late” 10. “Tippy Toes” 11. “Something Bad” 12. “The Opposite of Me” 13. “Time of Your Life” 14. “Forever Love” (Paula)

Buzz about Thicke’s follow-up to 2013’s Blurred Lines album being titled Paula surfaced earlier this month.

His five-months-and-counting separation from wife Paula Patton has prompted him to write and produce an entire album dedicated to winning her back. And just so there’s no confusion about whom his seventh solo LP is devoted to, he’s naming it Paula. That’s right. After debuting the album’s heartfelt single, “Get Her Back,” Thicke is stepping things up a notch for that elusive second chance. (MTV)

Paula recently admitted always having a special place in her heart for Thicke.

Patton grew up in Los Angeles, where she met Thicke, her life partner of two decades, at an 18-and-under nightclub when she was 15 and he was 14. Before their first kiss, he sang Jodeci’s “Forever My Lady” to her in his dad Alan’s living room. “He wasn’t my first kiss,” says Patton, “but he was my first lots of other things.” … Will the couple remain apart? Patton says only, “We’ve known each other since we were teenagers. All I can tell you is there’s a deep love there–always was, and always will be.” (Vanity Fair)
