According to reports, RiRi and Drizzy will link to perform “What’s My Name.”

It was only a matter of time until the red-headed starlet and everyone’s favorite yellow rapper hit the stage together.Rihanna and Drake will take the floor at this year’s 53rd Grammy Awards performing their number-one single, “What’s My Name?” from the Pop diva’s critically acclaimed Loud album. Rihanna’s up for six Grammy’s including Record of the Year for Eminem’s “Love the Way You Lie” and Best Dance Recording for “Only Girl (In the World).” Drake’s up for four awards including one for Best New Artist and Best Rap Solo Performance for “Over.” (Complex)

Last October, RiRi hinted at her Drake collaboration  making the Loud tracklist.

Just last month, Drake revealed that he and Rihanna had linked up for a song on her upcoming album Loud. Now the pop starlet is providing a few more details about the highly-anticipated collabo. “Drake is such a cool guy, man. He’s like one of my great friends,” RiRi told BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Max in a recent interview. “We actually just did a song together that’s gonna be on the album. The second single, we did a version with him, and who knows, we may shoot a video for it.” (Rap-Up)

In June, Drake explained referencing their past romantic relationship on his Thank Me Later debut.

And on “Fireworks” there’s a verse about Rihanna, who asked him last year to write a song for her new album; the two soon began seeing each other regularly, though they never publicly confirmed their brief relationship. “I was a pawn,” Drake said. The song he wrote for her never got released. “You know what she was doing to me? She was doing exactly what I’ve done to so many women throughout my life, which is show them quality time, then disappear,” he said. “I was like, wow, this feels terrible.” (New York Times)

After being nominated for a Grammy, Drake shared his post-announcement reaction.

“To get any type of Grammy accolade or anything, it’s cliche but it’s a dream come true in the literal sense, that thing you have between sleeping and waking up. That time spent I used to think about being on the stage and being able to thank the people that have done so much for me in my life. And I remember the first time I went to the Grammy Awards and I looked at the set up of it at The Kodak Theater and it was like man, this is very similar to the dream I’ve been having since the ‘Degrassi’ days. I’ve been having this dream, I never knew where it was and it never really specified what the award was, but I knew it was a night I could let the people know–the people in my life know–how much they have done with me. To have four opportunities to have that chance is incredible.” (Global Grind)

The 53rd annual Grammy Awards will be held at The Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011 and will broadcast live on CBS at 8PM ET/PT.
