Grammy-winning singer Rihanna has already begun talking about how she would like her Rated R follow-up album to sound and revealed her aim to sway away from the prior release’s dark tone.
According to the singer, she would like her fifth solo project to feature more of an energetic pop sound.
“Rated R, I love the sound of it, in terms of the bass,” Rihanna explained in an interview. “I really like the bottom, the grime of it. But if I were to combine that with more energetic, up-tempo pop records, then I think that will be a happy marriage. And that’s where we’ll probably go next.” (MTV)
Her current project has already passed the gold status mark in albums sold.
