Thrilling Thursday. It’s been a thrill ride through the week so why stop as we keep things moving with Rihanna throwing some shade at Kanye West? Speaking of Kanye West, it looks like the entire Karadashian family has a take on KimYe’s North West baby name. One name that’s catching some heat this week is Frank Ocean. Is he releasing new music left and right? All this coming up in SOHH Whatcha Think.

1. Rude Gal
Is there any reason why Rihanna should have feelings or feel a certain way about Kanye West? Especially considering he is a new father, has a great album on store shelves and recently celebrated his birthday? It turns out something might be brewing or getting under Rihanna’s skin. Bossip has more on this:
Ri Ri’s shading everybody. Maybe Ri Ri is mad Kanye knocked up Kimmy Cakes and is about to put a ring on it and she couldn’t get Chris Breezy to do the same. Rihanna might want to get her bitter island beyotch steez she’s been having lately in check. Good luck trying to find someone to wife you with that ‘tude Ri Ri. (Bossip)
Is there anything wrong with Rihanna having a little bit of fun or did this go too far? Kanye’s seemed more than serious these days and it’s hard to think he would have found this funny. Is everyone giving Rihanna a hard time or does she really have some ill will toward Kanye? #SOHHWhatchaThink?
2. Say My Name
It looks like everyone has an opinion when it comes to the name “North West” but none more important than the family members of Kim Kardashian. It looks like both Rob Kardashian and Kris Jenner have some input. MTV is all over this:
On Wednesday (June 26), Kim’s little brother, Rob Kardashian, called into Ryan Seacrest’s radio show where he dished on his new niece and her headline-making name. “When it comes to babies and stuff like that, I like to give the person all their time with their significant other. Let them enjoy their moment. I’m happy the baby is healthy and my sister is healthy,” he said, adding that he thinks that her name “sounds cool.” “[And] North is the highest point, so it has a lot of meaning to it. As long as they’re comfortable with it, you can’t tell them what to do,” he shared, further adding, “I told Kim and Kanye this, I’m like, ‘Yo, people are always going to talk whether it’s good or bad. There’s always going to be the haters, but do what you guys feel.’ Like, you know everyone’s going to say, ‘Oh, you’re coming up with some weird celebrity, crazy name.’ I’m like, ‘You know how it is.’ ” Rob isn’t the only Kardashian who is excited by their latest addition to the very large Kardashian family. Momager Kris Jenner stopped by “The View” on Tuesday, where she too confirmed the origins of her granddaughter’s name. “I love the name North. I’m pro-North, absolutely. The way she explained it to me was that North means highest power, and she says that North is their highest point together. And I thought that was really sweet,” she said. “You don’t walk around calling somebody ‘Hi, North West.’ It’s just North.” (MTV)
There’s so much in a name but until we hear Kanye West or Kim Kardashian address it, there’s really no point in hearing about the possibilities and what the name means to anyone else. Blue Ivy Carter and North West should make for really good friends. #SOHHWhatchaThink?
3. Across The Sea
Is Frank Ocean on the verge of putting out a new album? It was nearly a year ago that he shocked the world with his open letter and followed it with a very welcomign channel ORANGE album. After Jay-Z revealed Ocean will be on his Magna Carta Holy Grail album, it looks like Frank went ahead and let some more new music come out. Rap-Up has the scoop:
Frank Ocean kicked off his international “You’re Not Dead Tour” last night. During his show in Munich, Germany, the Grammy-winning crooner performed three new songs while his favorite BMW was projected on the screen behind him. He didn’t reveal the titles. However, Frank has been working on a follow-up to channel ORANGE. His European tour continues through July before heading to Toronto on August 4 for Drake’s 4th Annual OVO Fest. (Rap-Up)
Is the world ready for a full-length Frank Ocean album? He had so much criticism last year for dropping an album after coming out and so with all of that behind him, his music should be able to finally be appreciated with no second-guessing. #SOHHWhatchaThink?
