Grammy winning singer Rihanna has been chosen to perform at the National Football League’s Pepsi Smash Super Bowl Bash in Florida next month.
According to Billboard, the R&B superstar will join the likes of Enrique Iglesias, Fall Out Boy and Lifehouse at Tampa’s Ford Ampitheatre leading up to the highly anticipated NFL Super Bowl.
Hosted by actor Jerry O’Connell, the first concert will air live on VH1 and feature Rihanna, Fall Out Boy and Lifehouse, while the second will feature Iglesias and other performers to be announced for a Telemundo showing.
Tickets for the two-night event range from $20 to $45 and are available through Live Nation and www.ticketmaster.com.
The Super Bowl Bash concert is scheduled to air Thursday, January 29 at 9 p.m. EST.
In related news, Rihanna was recently selected to perform at next month’s Presidential Inauguration Charity Ball in Washington, DC.
She will reportedly be present at the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) event supporting President-elect Barack Obama and will also help provide food for millions of people across the nation.
