Barring any setbacks, Ricky Rozay’s newest solo offering will drop this spring.

Teaming with REVOLT to make the official announcement via a cinematic trailer, the Bawse will be unleashing his biggest album to date on March 4, 2014. The 47-second teaser clip directed by Hype Williams finds the Maybach Music head honcho setting the scene for an LP that many are already expecting to be his sixth consecutive masterpiece. It was around this time last year that Ross announced the title of the album, which was followed by new singles like “Box Chevy” and “No Games,” as well as an 8-city Mastermind Tour. Now with a brand new Jay Z-assisted single currently burning up the airwaves, the Bawse is back to take center position. (REVOLT TV)

A few days ago, Ricky revealed Bad Boy Records CEO Diddy would provide some in-studio help with the LP.

“Sitting at the SSL board #Mastermind on repeat.. album mixed by Sean Diddy Combs.,” Ross tweeted January 10. (Rick Ross’ Twitter)

Last month, the “Bawse” promised his latest solo offering would arrive sometime in 2014.

“It’s coming soon. Top of the year. Yeah. I still got to put a few details into it. I got to. Everybody will thank me later. [Guest features?] Bobby Womack. I collaborated with the legendary Bobby Womack. I got in the studio with a few people, man, just to do a lot of different things and it’s gonna be some dope sh*t.” (Rap-Up)

Ross recently raised eyebrows after revealing his LP would not make its previously scheduled mid-December drop date.

Rick Ross’ ‘Mastermind’ album was initially set to drop this year on Dec. 17, but the Bawse shares that he’s pushing the album back to a date that hasn’t been revealed. During an interview with DJ Scream on SiriusXM’s ‘Hip-Hop Nation,’ the rapper tells DJ Scream why he chose to delay the project. “I’m still putting the final touches on the album,” he shares. “You know me, making that classic is more important than anything. Making sure the streets are overwhelmed with what I am doing is what is most important. I’m gonna try to get it to you, and if I don’t, I’ll get it to you ASAP.” Ross released the song ‘No Games’ as the lead-in for the project, which serves as the follow-up to 2012’s ‘ God Forgives, I Don’t.’ (The Boom Box)
