Maybach Music Group boss Rick Ross recently talked about the success of his star-studded label and explained what key factor has kept it above the competition.

In Ricky Rozay’s perspective, the variety of artists on the MMG roster has made the company successful.

“I think the diversity itself is what sets us apart as a label. When you think of Stalley, when you think of Omarion just having a number 1 record. Meek Mill having a monstrous new album, Wale, another number one and of course the Boss,” Rick Ross explained. “Gunplay just releasing his first solo album. I think that’s real big and that’s something special for me. I’m extremely proud.” (DX Daily)

This week, Rick Ross treated fans to his new Black Dollar mixtape.

Earlier this summer, Ross celebrated protégé Meek Mill’s Dreams Worth More Than Money album debuting atop the sales chart.

Meek celebrated his chart-topping MMG-released album with hip-hop celebrities Jay Z, Fabolous and Kevin Hart back in July.

The crew joined Jay and Fabolous at Kevin’s Madison Square Garden show for his #WhatNowTour stop. Soak it up Meek. And yes, he gave a special Thank You to his girlfriend Nicki Minaj in his Breakfast Club interview yesterday…even though he says she is NOT the reason he’s now blowing up. (The YBF)
