As a sneak peek of Rick Ross‘ clothing line, Luxury Tax, hit the net, Ross continues his rap battle against 50 Cent with the release of his latest video, “Valley of Death.”
The Miami emcee’s video features him rapping in a cemetery proclaiming his superiority over Fif.
“Walk like a giant/ Talk like a tyrant,” Ross raps, “Lord knows when I see this monkey I’mma be the devil/ Beat him ’cause I’m clever/ Beat him at whatever/ You never was a G n*gga…New York unified, down South love that/ When we got the shine, motherf*ckers where the love at/ Real n*ggas get money, better log on/ Think the game dead, imagine when your dawg gone/ Imagine when it’s all gone/ When you fall off, it’s only one to call on.” (Ozone Magazine)
Along with the diss, DJ Smallz recently previewed the Boss’ new clothing line, Luxury Tax.
“I know you probably seen the ads,” he says in a video clip. “Luxury Tax, Rick Ross new clothing line. Well I just wanted to show you a couple pieces real quick. Luxury Tax sh*t. This sh*t is for ballers only. Different colors, you feel me? Wanna make sure you cop that, make sure you go to DeeperThanRap.com. Aside from clothing, Ross has responded to alleged heat for making derogatory anti-gay statements towards 50.
“I heard I offended the homosexual community,” Ross said. “I sincerely apologize to the people I’ve offended…And just to let the gay community know how sincere I am with my apologies, I’m offering and willing to do a record with an openly gay artist such as Curly, Curtis Jackson, 50 Cent…Even Elton John…Both two great gay artists…So now all the gays, we good. Peace.” (World Star Hip Hop)
Ross, on numerous occasions, has painted 50 as a closet homosexual.
“He’s not straight, he’s a f*g, he’s gay, you know it, I know it” Ross said in an interview with Devi Dev. “Listen, we’re not gonna waste time on Curly, he’s a monkey, he can’t dress…Do us the biggest favor, stop f*cking up those Dr. Dre beats.” (Hard Knock TV)
