Based on new reports, Ross will also feature a wide variety of producers on his fourth solo project.

Along with Ne-Yo, who appears on the first official single for the disc, “Super High,” the Miami Boss also recruited such hip-hop heavyweights as Jay-Z, Kanye West, T.I. and Drake. Known for his collaborations with the R&B elite (John Legend, The-Dream), Ross’s new LP also boasts features from Raphael Saadiq and Chrisette Michele. Producers on the project include DJ Clark Kent, the Olympics and past co-conspirators J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, the Runners and the Inkredibles. (XXL Mag)

His album is slated to be released in the summer.

Rick Ross has been dropping more freestyles than Weezy lately, but the Bawse is finally coming clean with the first official single from his fourth album Teflon Don, due June 29. Ross breezes through “Super High” with help from labelmate Ne-Yo and production by DJ Clark Kent and The Remedy. “Magnificent (Part 2),” anyone? (Rap-Up)

Last January, Ross talked about the project being one of his biggest to date.

“It’s a lot of Internet, a lot of online chatter going on — a lot of talk of this new Rick Ross/John Legend collaboration,” Ross said. “I’m confirming it. It’s official. We got another record…Ah man, I don’t know how to describe this one. ‘Magnificent’ was one of my favorite records off Deeper Than Rap. But the new John Legend [collaboration] is most definitely next-level vibe. We back at it. It’s most definitely creative. Shout-out to John Legend — I think he makes a huge contribution to music. Myself, I try to get better and better with every rhyme I make — every rhyme I bring to the table, I want to make sure it’s more potent than the last. I’m setting this album, Teflon Don, to be the album of my career.” (MTV)

Ross recently spoke with SOHH about predicting he would make the best records for 2010.

“Honestly, n*ggas can talk sh*t but it’s hard to really make predictions other than lord willing we’ll be still here, you know what I”m saying,” Ross told SOHH. “N*ggas here, free, alive, other than that, we just gonna make the best music we gonna make. And I feel it’s gonna competewith the best music that’s being made right now.” (SOHH)
