According to reports, Ricky Rozay will use the enormous residence to help steer the youth in a positive direction.

MTV News learned that the deal, which has been in the works for some time, was finally closed on Tuesday and the big-time rapper has big-time plans for the space. Aside from living there, Ross plans to use the property for his developing In a Big Way charity. A Ross rep told us that the Boss’ vision is to bring inner-city youngsters to the property and let them utilize all of the luxurious amenities like the Olympic-sized swimming pool, baseball field and horse stable, in an effort to take them out of their element and bring a positive influence to their lives. Recently, Ross hinted at the 109-room purchase being more than just having a nice home to flaunt.

“I rode by that property for years and I used to just look at it,” Ross said in an interview. “If you’re a person like me that’s inspired by certain things and I just felt like me acquiring that property and me really speaking to some kids and giving them that same passion and them looking in my eyes and me telling them, ‘Yo, this is real.’ That’s a huge crib. I went on it last week. I asked [the realtor] to walk me through it before I made the purchase and I found ten new bedrooms I didn’t even know was there, there’s an inside basketball court, pools, et cetera, et cetera. But I feel there’s somebody that needs to see that. It’s somebody that needs that inspiration. We’re going to open up them doors to these kids from New Orleans, from Atlanta, from Miami and just open their minds a little bit.” (Revolt TV)

In January, reports of Ross getting his hands on the decked-out home surfaced.

If you were wondering if Rick Ross’ is really ballin’ wonder no more. Big man has just scooped up the house previously owned by Boxing legend Evander Holyfield. The mansion boasts 109 rooms and is an astounding 54,000 square feet. The house also sits on 235 acres that will have to be mowed. For entertainment, there is a bowling alley a movie theater and a stable, just in case Ricky Rozay wants to do some horseback riding. The dining room holds 100 people or 1 Rick Ross and 10 guests. The house was foreclosed on and the amount that Ross paid has not been revealed although Evander owed $14 million when he vacated back in July 2012. (Before Its News)

Reports also claimed the “Bawse” would have to drop at least $1 million annually to maintain normal household costs.

The cost to run a house as big as this exceeds $1 Million dollars per year. So Ross will have to earn $1 million just to run the house, plus the house payment, living expenses, car payments and any other mortgages he may have on other homes. Suddenly that net worth of $28 million isn’t looking as big as it did before. (Before Its News)
