Rick Ross Reacts To “God Forgives, I Don’t” Crushing Its Competition At No. 1

Maybach Music Group leader Rick Ross has reacted to his new God Forgives, I Don’t solo album living up to the expectations and sales projections by landing atop the sales chart this week.

Ricky Rozay hopped on Twitter Wednesday (August 8) and promised to unveil a surprise next week.

After seven days on store shelves, Ross’ newest solo album dominated its competition atop the chart.

Maybach Music Group leader Rick Ross’ God Forgives, I Don’t solo album debuted at No. 1. According to Nielsen SoundScan, the “Boss'” latest solo effort has sold 219,100 copies in its opening week. (SOHH Sales Wrap)

Initial sales projections had the album selling at least 200,000 units.

The large and in-charge rapper continues Def Jam/IDJ’s recent dominance of the marketplace with God Forgives, I Don’t, which will debut next week with between 200-220k in sales, easily going #1. His last album, Teflon Don, sold 176k upon release in July 2010. (HITS Daily Double)

Last week, DJ Khaled congratulated Ross’ new LP in a video and called it a hip-hop classic.
