According to Pill, he still has plans to release new MMG music come 2012.

Despite being the only artist of MMG — besides latecomer Stalley — without a radio single, Pill states that he was somewhat surprised to hear the whispers. “I’m not sure how they started actually,” he tells The BoomBox. “I noticed it when people started f—ing with me on Twitter, but I don’t know the source of it. I mean, it is what it is. It’s mostly Twitter — people that follow me or don’t follow me that hate on me daily, and wanna start s—.” (The Boom Box)

Speculation on the Atlanta rapper’s unknown Maybach status hit the Internet earlier this month.

There is a nasty rumor going around about the (Former… allegedly) MMG rapper claiming he has been dropped from Rick Ross’ MMG label. This comes somewhat expected since the rapper, who hails from Atlanta, has fallen into the the depths of MMG, being overshadowed by Meek Mill, newly signed Stalley, and the successful MMG debut, Ambition, by Wale. It’s not all bad for Pill; he has kept himself busy touring and appearing with the group itself the last couple months. Perhaps this could be a marketing ploy to spark interest? Time will tell. Earlier this month, Rick Ross, Pill and Meek Mill dropped their new “Big Bank” record.

Opting to revisit his label’s summer released compilation album, Self Made, the undisputed king of the Hip Hop viral Rick Ross and his Maybach Music team have unleashed fresh new visuals for his ill collaboration “Big Bank.”As expected the video features MMG soldiers Pill, Meek Mill, Bronx bred Triple C emcee Torch and rumoured new signing French Montana. Last March, Pill talked about joining rap star Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group.

“It’s an honor being part of MMG,” Pill said in a video. “Seeing what Ross did with his movement. I said, ‘It’s only right that I make that next step.’ … I remember listening to all of [Ross’] sh*t and being like, ‘Man how the f*ck does he pick those beats?’ I don’t got that formula and it’s only right that you put Pill with the formula and let my formula combine with it. Then we’ll go on and take it to the sky. There’s no time to waste.” (Dre Films)
