Working with Dre for the first time, Ricky Rozay described sharing studio time with the Doc and Young Hov.

“I just collaborated with people I was a huge fan of such as Dr. Dre for the first time,” Ross said in an interview with radio host Bootleg Kev. “And Dr. Dre and Jay-Z on the same record by the name of ‘Three Kings.’ Just witnessing that being in the studio with both of them dudes, man, it was a h*ll of an experience. It was just something I could never really see happening. On a personal level, that was big for me. Of course the record I did by the name of ’16’ featuring Andre [3000]. It’s a classic. It’s a classic.” (“The Bootleg Kev Show”)

He also briefly touched on inking Chicago up-and-comer rapper Rockie Fresh to MMG.

“I had heard some of his music but I never got to put a face with the voice and the name,” Ross said when asked about Fresh. “I stayed up a couple nights and Googled basically all of his videos. … I was just a fan at that point. I was loving how homie was coming across — he just kept everything so simple and straight forward and just had dope lyrics and dope hooks and concepts, so I flew him out, we kicked it and he went back home and you know, of course everything else went to work.” (“The Bootleg Kev Show”)

Ross’ new LP tracklisting leaked online a couple weeks ago.

‘Pray For Us’ ‘Pirates’ ‘3 Kings’ (feat. Dr. Dre & Jay-Z) ‘Ashamed’ ‘Maybach’ Music IV (feat. Ne-Yo) ‘Sixteen’ (feat. Andre 3000) ‘Amsterdam’ ‘Hold Me Back’ ‘911’ ‘So Sophisticated’ (feat. Meek Mill) ‘Presidential’ (feat. Elijah Blake) ‘Ice Cold’ (feat. Omarion) ‘Touch’N You’ (feat. Usher) ‘Diced Pineapples’ (feat. Wale & Drake) ‘Ten Jesus Pieces’ (feat. Stalley) (411 Mania)

Days after signing Rockie Fresh to his team, their new “You A Lie” remix emerged.

Chicago’s own Rockie Fresh is Maybach Music Group’s newest signee, and it looks like they are already getting down to business as Rick Ross hops on Rockie’s “You A Lie (Remix).” Check out a radio rip of their collabo below by clicking the link in Rockie’s tweet, and stay tuned for more Rockie Fresh and MMG material to hopefully surface this summer.
