Maybach Music Group’s Rick Ross has a good feel on where the Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma feud rests. The hip-hop heavyweight has provided his own insight in the overnight rap feud.

In Yung Renzel’s perspective, Nicki is currently the queen of rap and Remy stands as a current contender.

“It’s without a doubt Nicki was on the throne, she is or was. [Nicki Minaj’s the queen of rap?] That’s without a doubt. Anybody who says differently, you’d be playing yourself. It’s most definitely respectable female emcees in the game. Remy was that one and if it was going to be a contender, it was gonna be Remy and that’s what she did. She took her shot.
