According to reports, Motown native Trick Trick may have had something to do with Ross going ghost last night (June 21) for local radio station Hot 107.5’s summer concert.

Well according to HOT 107.5?s AP, apparently Ross did not get the necessary clearance of Trick Trick, the self proclaimed “Mayor of Detroit City” because Ross was stopped by the “Good Squad” while attempting to gain access to the backstage gate of the show! We hear that Ross was allegedly afraid for his life and actually left the show…yes he bounced! (The Urban Daily)

Trick Trick appeared to address the situation on social media with a subliminal message.

Was this a case of the “No Fly Zone”? Trick Trick hinted at a problem in his new single “No Fly Zone” that features Detroit emcee Royce da 5’9, stating “Your papers are waiting to be approved.” We assume Rick Ross did not submit for the ‘papers’ Trick felt Ross needed in order to perform in Detroit. In the song Trick adds “I am a phone call away.” (The Urban Daily)

No stranger to Detroit woes, Ross fell victim to another bad incident two years ago.

This is the second time Rozay has had problems in Detroit. His empty tour bus was robbed of thousands of dollars in jewelry, clothes and other personal items in 2012. While many suspected local rapper Trick Trick was behind the burglary, Trick denied his involvement. “I wasn’t gona entertain this weak sh*t but, if I wanted to get officer ricky, I’d get em! Not tear up a tour bus! That’s B*TCH sh*t! GSM,” he tweeted July 2012. (The Smoking Section)

Aside from the no-show, Ross has been flaunting his slimmed down image as of late.

The hip-hop star has been losing weight gradually since last year and has dropped an estimated 100 pounds at least, according to reports. Ross, who has continuously touted Reebok’s CrossFit program when asked about his slimmer figure, and his rep have not confirmed an actual number. Fans started to notice Ross’ weight loss last fall (pictured above, left, Ross performs in Miami on Nov. 23, 2013). He appeared slimmer than ever at Hot 107.9 FM’s Birthday Bash 19 in Atlanta on June 14 (pictured above, right). (E! Online)
