Maybach Music Group’s Rick Ross feels no shame in previously warning protégé Meek Mill about his relationship with ex-girlfriend Nicki Minaj. The rap heavyweight has explained where the motivation to dish out the cautionary words came from.
In a new interview with talk show diva Wendy Williams, Ross said he just wanted to give Meek some big brother tips.
“Yes,” Ross said when asked if it was true about warning Meek Mill about Nicki Minaj. “Yes it is, it’s a fact. You know, just, just that big brother love. You know? It wasn’t nothing personal against Nicki. It could have been Keisha off the block. Yeah, most definitely, that was just me being a big brother. That was just my opinion. ‘Be careful.’ You know? Sometimes you gotta let your little brother live and you can’t stop your little brother from living. You just give your advice and support for living. You never know.” (“Wendy”)

Last week, Meek allegedly went to social media and exposed Nicki about paying blogs to taint his image.
Ross references Meek’s relationship with Nicki Minaj on his new Rather You Than Me solo album.
A few days prior, Meek appeared to cleverly reference the anti-Nicki bar on Instagram.
