Maybach Music Group leader Rick Ross has earned the title of "Bawse of the Year" for 2012 by GQ Magazine and offered up a few tips fans should consider as the calendar turns to 2013.
Honored by GQ’s title, Ricky Rozay revealed his aim to stop smoking blunts and encouraged fans to consider switching over to papers.
Hey, Rick Ross, your album God Forgives, I Don’t was massive; your label, Maybach Music Group, blew up–was 2012 a huge year for you? “It’s been a power-player year.” And how about being named the tenth-most-powerful man in hip-hop by The Source? “I’m the typa dude who feels like he could take number two next year.” But why not number one this year? “The moves I make, I ain’t never in no rush.” Any advice for readers? “One, for Christmas go get yourself an MMG tattoo. The accolade may come as a surprise to rap veteran Master P who recently crowned himself the boss of all bosses.

Recently, R&B singer Avery Storm spoke to SOHH and gave his thoughts on frequent collaborator Rick Ross’ growth as a boss.
