Maybach Music Group’s Rick Ross isn’t ready to call a truce with Birdman. The hip-hop veteran has announced plans to release his hard-hitting anti-Baby “Idols Become Rivals” music video.

Early Monday (June 12), Yung Renzel went to Instagram to announce his visual’s premiere date and time.

Recently, Rick Ross publicly let loose his issues with Birdman.

“I just felt it was time for somebody to let homie know that that ain’t gangsta. You won’t be respected no more. I won’t let nobody respect you around me. It ain’t a diss record, it’s just a clean your face record because if you think you’re just taking something away from somebody, that ain’t the way it goes. It’s so much I could say right now, I just want him to feel it. Like, it’s whatever. Just clean your face, handle your business. What you get out of love, you ain’t take it. If you’re under the assumption you took something or taking something, I ain’t got no respect for him.” (Hot 107.9)

In mid-March, music executive Wack 100 publicly came to Baby’s defense in the feud.

Weeks prior, Baby protégé Lil Wayne publicly fired shots at him during a live South By Southwest music festival concert.

“Ladies and gentlemen we’ve had an awesome f*cking time tonight,” Wayne said. “In all honesty, I know y’all do know I am going through some bullsh*t with my motherf*ckin’ career and n*ggas trying to steer my career without letting me do or say a damn thing. But, it’s moments like this that make that bullsh*t this big to me. I appreciate you. If you think that I am stressing or letting this sh*t get to me, please remember there’s too much good p*ssy and too many great motherf*cking loyal fans to worry about bullsh*t a** Birdman! Music!”
