The call occurred after Ross’ first seizure on October 14 en route to Memphis.

TMZ has obtained the 911 call placed moments after Rick Ross suffered his first seizure on board a commercial airplane earlier this month. According to the caller — a rep for Delta airlines — the plane was landing for a medical emergency involving a first class passenger … but the caller never identifies Rick Ross by name. As we first reported, Rick suffered another seizure later that same day … on a separate flight. Ross postponed an L.A. concert last weekend after promoters felt it was in his best interest to take a break. (TMZ)

The rap star’s second seizure occurred hours later.

Rapper Rick Ross reportedly suffered a second medical emergency on a plane Friday while traveling to Memphis to perform at a college basketball kickoff. The Miami-based artist’s private jet to Tennessee was forced to land in Birmingham, Ala., when he suffered a seizure, NBC station WTVJ of Miami reported. It was the second time in six hours a plane carrying the performer diverted due to concerns over his health. (MSNBC)

Miami’s DJ Khaled has promised to stick by the “Boss'” side as he recovers from both seizures.

“I am not leaving his side. He is resting, he is chilling and he is actually super focused. He is at the crib and is going to rest and just chill until he gets his energy back. He is going to take everything one day by day,” Khaled said in an interview. “I told him he has to stay home for two weeks. I told him he has got to just chill and reIax. I told him he is a big enough star that he can just stay home. His life is more important…When he went in the hospital that was a reality check. I’m trying to tell him, but he’s telling me, ‘Khaled you ain’t got to tell me no more, I understand clearly I got to take my life seriously.'” (Global Grind)

Following his seizures, Ross’ ex-girlfriend/actress Elise Neal blamed his record label, presumably Def Jam, for overworking him.

“I think they’re [his record label] pushing him too hard,” Elise tells RumorFix. “I know he’s very career driven, but I don’t think they take enough time to care about what they’re doing to his body. They don’t think about him or his health, pushing him to do all these videos, pushing tours and shows. He is not 20 years old anymore — no one seems to care about him really or overall his health…If you have a medical emergency … if you have the people who are closest around you saying ‘You’re alright’ — you’re going to be more apt to say ‘I’m alright.'” (RumorFix)
