Former B2K member Raz-B has once again addressed last week's Twitter dispute between himself and Chris Brown and denied sparking the publicized feud.
According to Raz, he was not responsible for firing the initial shot to Brown.
“I must be honest with everyone! Like I sent a message to @Chrisbrown I honestly never tweeted that message to Chris! I did say something along the line however my respect for chris I would never do him like that! That’s why I had to step up and make things right! … Look how the media try to do Chris! At the same time things shouldnt had been said! Its the people around me that started this! so please stop the hate mail.” (Raz-B’s Twitter)
Last week, Raz tweeted messages to Brown which referenced his 2009 domestic violence issues with ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
“@Chrisbrown Do you hit your boyfriend @andre_merritt like you do your women?,” Raz tweeted Wednesday (December 29) evening.
“@chrisbrown I luv how u resort 2 disrespectful low brow tactics when u clearly sabotaged ur own career by beating women!” (Raz-B’s Twitter)
Brown responded to the disses by taunting Raz’s career and publicized his rape allegations.
“@razb2k n*gga you want attention! Grow up n*gga!!! D*ck in da booty a** lil boy,” Brown wrote back.
“Tell me this @razb2k!! Why when the money was coming in u won’t complaining about getting butplugged! #homothug!!!” (Chris Brown’s Twitter)
Following the war of words, both artists issued apologetic statements.
“I want to publicly apologize for my direct attacks done out of anger. This is now about taking the right approach, so not only my story can be heard, but so someone learns something valuable,” Raz explained in a statement. “Standing up for yourself does not mean yelling or victimizing others and I sincerely apologize for that. I was told that ‘you can’t hear my message if I’m screaming.'” (Statement)
