The dicey pics surfaced online earlier in the week.

The photograph shows an unidentified male wearing Rice’s #27 jersey, holding a black blowup doll by the hair. The costume is a reference to Ray Rice’s now infamous domestic assault of his then fiancée in the elevator of an Atlantic City casino. Rice was suspended for two games from the NFL after the incident; after full video of the assault leaked, however, he was suspended indefinitely and cut by the Baltimore Ravens. The couple married shortly after the incident; as part of a plea agreement, Rice received no jail time. (The Grio)

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell stepped up to address the controversy surrounding him following an instant suspension of Rice in early September.

Embattled NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell apologized Friday for what he said was his mishandling of the Ray Rice domestic violence scandal but vowed “now I will get it right and will do whatever is necessary to accomplish that.” Speaking at a Manhattan new conference amid calls for his resignation, Goodell announced a sweeping policy to counter domestic abuse and sexual assault, mandating all players and staff on the league’s 32 teams undergo education and training about how to prevent abuse. The suspended NFL player’s wife jumped onto her Instagram page in September to speak out.

“I woke up this morning feeling like I had a horrible nightmare, feeling like I’m mourning the death of my closest friend. But to have to accept the fact that it’s reality is a nightmare in itself. No one knows the pain that the media & unwanted options from the public has caused my family. To make us relive a moment in our lives that we regret everyday is a horrible thing. To take something away from the man I love that he has worked his a** off for all his life just to gain ratings is a horrific. THIS IS OUR LIFE! What don’t you all get. If your intentions were to hurt us, embarrass us, make us feel alone, take all happiness away, you’ve succeeded on so many levels. Just know we will continue to grow & show the world what real love is! Ravensnation we love!,” Mrs. Rice wrote September 9. (Janay Palmer-Rice’s Instagram)

  1. that “married a white man” sh!t is kinda funny… now back to supporting my people…

    • Too bad a white person didn’t write it. She created fake accounts thinking people would stand by her. We all saw the video of her acting like the wild animal trash that she is.

  2. ironic since brothers didn’t start domestic violence..know your (American) history!

  3. She was behaving like a wild animal and ruined her chances of being a decent human being. How dare she try to get us Black Americans to stand behind her ignorance. She probably created the fake accounts that made those comments. Ain’t nobody got time for that!!!
