According to reports, dancehall rapper Bounty Killer was arrested on a domestic charge.

A police statement says rapper Bounty Killer was arrested Monday at his home in Jamaica for allegedly assaulting a girlfriend. Police did not disclose details of the alleged attack, citing an ongoing probe. The entertainer whose offstage name is Rodney Price already is being prosecuted on previous charges of illegal possession of a firearm, marijuana possession, and unlawful wounding and assault. Additional reports claim the rapper was denied bail.

Police report that while being processed at the Constant Spring Police Station, in keeping with standard police operating procedure, Pryce was allowed to make a telephone call. Police say the DJ used that opportunity to call the complainant and threatened her life in their presence. He was refused station bail and will appear in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday. (Jamaica Observer)

In a separate case, rap veteran Coolio has been issued a bench warrant.

TMZ has learned a $10,000 bench warrant was issued for Coolio’s arrest today, after the rapper failed to show up to court in L.A for a progress report hearing.Court documents show Coolio’s lawyer tried to get in touch with the rapper to find out why he was a no-show … but couldn’t get him on the horn. Last June, Coolio pleaded guilty to drug possession after being arrested in Los Angeles International Airport in the spring.

He pleaded guilty today to one felony count of possession of a controlled substance, cocaine. Ivey, 45, will enter an 18-month drug rehabilitation program, known as Deferred Entry of Judgment, said Deputy District Attorney Cynthia Inda. If he successfully completes the program, he can request that the judge dismiss his case at the end of 18 months. He is scheduled to return September 28 at LAX Superior Court for a progress report.
