According to Pusha, his new alignment with Kanye West‘s G.O.O.D. Music brand has had an influence on his music.

“It’s just that we’re doing something different as far as releasing music. You can tell with the whole G.O.O.D. Friday thing. I stopped putting out my freestyles frivolously. This music is really–d*mn, I don’t know how else to put it–it’s really good. [Laughs] Too many artists are dropping music haphazardly. Our music isn’t flash-in-the-pan music, whereas a lot of that other stuff is…[Fear of God] is going to be put out, but it’s going to be put out systematically. I’m not going to put a date or time on it until we get the format locked in. It might be something digital’ it might not. The G.O.O.D. family is trying to switch things up a little bit.” (VIBE)

Earlier this week, Pusha confirmed his allegiance to Ye’s company.

“I’m definitely signed with G.O.O.D. Music. I’m definitely doing my solo project through G.O.O.D. Music,” the Virginia MC confirmed to MTV News’ Sway. “The Clipse is definitely coming with a new Clipse project. We’re definitely coming with the Re-Up Game project. The family is still here, man. It’s just all about G.O.O.D. Music, straight up.” (MTV)

Pusha’s G.O.O.D. Music debut, Fear of God mixtape, was recently pushed back.

“The Fear of God is no longer dropping on the 14.,” he tweeted late Thursday (September 9) night.

“Can I drop a single before you ask me for an album?”

“@ILLIONAIRE You gonna wait for mp3’s like everyone else n*gga.” (Pusha T’s Twitter)

Last month, Kanye West said Pusha was now on G.O.O.D. Music.

According to published reports, at a secret concert given by Kanye West in New York, Yeezy brought out his G.O.O.D Music artists and officially announced Pusha as one of them. Hot 97 on air personality Miss Info confirmed the reports on her blog: “Kanye along with the help of John Legend, Estelle, Consequence, Pusha T of The Clipse (who ‘Ye announced last night IS a part of G.O.O.D. Music) and others treated a select crowd to a memorable show.” (Hip Hop Wired)
