The G.O.O.D. Music member resorted to his Instagram page to post up “PHARRELL WAS ROBBED” followed by a series of angry emoticons.

Pusha T was not happy with the Oscars this year. The Virginia rapper took to Instagram to vent his frustration that his long time friend and collaborator Pharrell was robbed from a award. Last night’s 86th Annual Academy Awards (March 2) Pharrell did not win an Oscar for his smash hit single “Happy.” Instead the award went to Robert Lopez for “Frozen.” (XXL Mag)

Skateboard P brought some life to the celebration with his “Happy” performance.

Pharrell Williams shook his groove thing at the Academy Awards, along with a few famous friends. The singer took the Oscars stage for a lively performance of his Oscar-nominated song “Happy” from “Despicable Me 2.” Williams, wearing his signature large hat, wasn’t satisfied with the phalanx of backup dancers he had on stage — so he worked his way into the audience for some star-powered reinforcements. Although he fell short of Oscar gold, Pharrell did manage to sell his now-iconic oversized Grammys hat.

Pharrell Williams’ infamous Vivienne Westwood “Jell Mould” hat has been sold on eBay to a philanthropic, hat-loving person for $44,100 today. This headpiece-loving person, it turns out, is actually the fast-food chain Arby’s, whose love for Pharrell’s hat is well-documented. (NY Mag)

Instead of balling out with the $44,100, Skateboard P has promised to put the money up toward a good cause.

Williams revealed on Twitter that the money from the sale will go to the charity One Hand to AnOTHER, but, fortunately for losing bidders, there are many, many more chances to win Pharrell’s hats, as he’s also worn them to Art Basel, Oscar pre-parties, and onstage during his performance of “Happy” at the Oscars tonight. Or you could just buy one from the Vivienne Westwood boutique for $180. But the better question is: how much will his Lanvin shorts eventually sell for? (NY Mag)
